Rehoming cats in need across the North East.

Minnie's Haven is a small cat rescue run by a group of volunteers.

Our mission

Our rescue is named after Minnie, a beloved cat who inspired the creation of this sanctuary.

Minnie's story holds a special place in our hearts. Her life encouraged us to establish a safe space for cats in need, a haven where they could find comfort, care, and a chance at a better life.

Here at Minnie's Haven, we're dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for every cat that comes through our doors. Our volunteers and veterinarians work tirelessly to ensure these cats receive the love and attention they deserve.

Happy

Adopters

We adopted our gorgeous Alfred (previously Nemo) from Minnie’s Haven. Jenna is incredible - she puts her whole heart into caring for the cats and made the process incredibly easy for us. Alfred is perfect and is exactly what we needed in our lives. I honestly couldn’t thank and recommend Minnie’s Haven & Jenna enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

We have adopted two kittens from Minnie’s, they have obviously been very well looked after and have settled in with no problems. The adoption fee includes their microchip and neutering which is really great! A lovely charity who really do care! Bertie and Elliot

So glad I came across Minnie's!

I rehomed Miggy in December and already I can't imagine life without her. Jenna was very responsive and made the process super easy. She and her team are clearly very thoughtful about finding the right home (and human servant!) for each cat that comes into their care, Miggy and I are a perfect match.

Thank you so much!

Jenna genuinely cares about the animals she's wanting forever homes for.

When she came to my home she spent time with my daughter educating her as well as asking questions.

As a result my daughter helped re-home 3 feral foster kittens as well as being the greatest human to 2 female ferals
