Dudley

• Dudley is a handsome 2 year old chunky hunk of love.

• We don't know if Dudley has had any prior experience living with any cats or dogs. He is young and could potentially adapt to living with calm animals with careful introductions over time.

• Dudley is looking for a calm, quiet home where he can continue building his confidence at his own pace.

• An adult household or one with older mature children would suit him best, as he needs patient, understanding humans who can offer reassurance and help him feel safe and loved.

He hasn’t had the best start in life. Abandoned and left to survive on the streets has left him easily startled and he finds loud noises and sudden movement a little scary causing him to retreat to a safe hiding place. But what Dudley lacks in confidence, he more than makes up for with love.

Once he feels safe, he absolutely adores fuss, attention and treats, the quickest way to win him over! Beneath his timid exterior is the sweetest, gentlest boy who just wants to be close to his humans. He’ll happily curl up on your lap for hours, gazing into your eyes and searching for your hand if you dare stop stroking him. He’s even happy having his paws and tummy touched and quite enjoys a little paw massage.

Dudley enjoys playing, particularly with wand toys, we've discovered that given his size hide and seek isn't really his forte. He loves a sunny windowsill to snooze on but will need some places to hide away when he gets a bit overwhelmed. Underneath a blanket on a sofa for example. He has been used to living outside so would need to have access to safe outdoor space should he want to venture out again.

He enjoys his wet food, not so bothered by dry and despite his size is tidy with his litter tray.
