Ivy & Katana
Ivy (black, 7 years old)
Katana (grey and white, 10 years old)
They have lived with children before and could live with respectful children again.
They would be fine as indoor cats or with outdoor access to a catio or secure garden.
After recently having some dental work, Ivy and Katana are now fully recovered and ready to find a loving new home together.
They are both confident, settled girls who aren't fazed by everyday household life. We've even had builders in with lots of loud noise, and neither of them was bothered in the slightest.
Ivy (7)
Ivy is the more affectionate of the pair and actively seeks out human company. She'll happily sit on your lap, climb onto your shoulders, headbutt you for attention, and rub her face against yours and your hair. She's full of personality and can sometimes be a bit like a bull in a china shop! Ivy is very playful and active and loves wand toys, balls, catnip, and especially Lick-e-Lix treats. She also has a habit of spinning around the cat pole so enthusiastically that she leaves you feeling dizzy just watching her!
Katana (10)
Katana is a little more independent but enjoys attention when it's offered. She isn't keen on being picked up/held, but she absolutely loves a good back scratch and tummy rub and will reward you with gentle, playful head bops. She will tend to sit next to you rather than on your lap. She's a sweet, calm girl who enjoys affection on her own terms. Katana likes to observe from a high vantage point although is sometimes a little less confident getting back down.
Neither is particularly vocal in the house, the first time I heard them meow was travelling in their box.
Both girls enjoy climbing and exploring their surroundings.
They get along well together, although Katana will occasionally give Ivy a hiss if Ivy gets a little too enthusiastic and invades her personal space. They don't often sleep cuddled up together, but Ivy regularly grooms Katana, showing the bond they share.
They can both be a little fussy with food until you discover their favourites (Whiskas isn't a hit!), but once you find what they like, they eat well. Neither is particularly interested in dry food. Ivy loves treats, especially Lick-e-Lix, while Katana is less food-motivated but enjoys her favourite wet food (she only has a few teeth remaining)
These lovely girls would suit a calm, caring home where they can continue to enjoy life together and be loved for their individual personalities.
They are:
Neutered
Microchipped
Treated to prevent fleas and worms
