Our hearts break for this old girl. She's been so loved and tragically recently lost her owner and her feline companion in a very short space. We were asked by local authorities to take cats from a property where the owner had sadly passed away.
Samantha, or Sammi as we've fondly been calling her, was the only remaining cat.
Straight away, we suspected thyroid issues. Thankfully, we obtained her vet records, which did indeed show she needed to be on thyroid meds. She was immediately booked with our vets to get her what she needed.
She's been a little lost and upset and hasn't been eating as well as we'd like. We will continue to support her but would love to find her a foster home where someone is around much of the time to give her the attention she craves.
