Smudge

• Smudge is a laid-back, affectionate 10-year-old gentleman looking for his forever home.

• He appears happy indoors but has previously had outdoor access and would likely enjoy safe outdoor time.

• He has also been around other cats and may be able to live with feline company following careful introductions.

• Very young, noisy children or a very busy household may be a little overwhelming for him, but older, calm children should be absolutely fine.

When Smudge first arrived, he was a little shy and can still be startled by loud household noises, but once he feels safe, his loving personality shines through.

He absolutely adores people and would happily spend all day curled up on your lap.

Smudge isn't especially vocal and communicates with little chirps over loud meows. He loves head rubs, gentle belly rubs, and cuddling into the crook of your arm. Expect plenty of head bumps and soft purrs, he needs very little encouragement to jump onto your lap for affection. He tolerates being picked up but would much rather choose cuddles on his own terms

He's an easy-going boy with food too, happily enjoying both wet and dry food. He uses his litter tray well, although he can be a little enthusiastic with his digging, so a deep, high-sided tray would help keep litter where it belongs!

Smudge would make a wonderful companion.
